Pinedale Backpacker Lodge is a self-catering villa offering backpacker accommodation with large living areas and heated bedrooms. It is located within easy walking distance to the vibrant amenities of Methven.

Transport is available in the Pinedale van for Pinedale guests only, to and from Christchurch, Christchurch Airport, Ashburton as well as Mt Hutt, Porter Heights, Mt Olympus, Mt Cheeseman, Broken River and Craigieburn ski areas.
Pinedale is the moving backpackers! This gorgeous, character villa, started life as a family homestead on a farm, up the Rakaia Gorge, beneath the mountains. It was moved by truck to it's current site in the early 1970's and soon after became Methven's first backpacker lodge accommodation
